2011 is proving to be a jam-packed year for students at the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy! Students have been attending lessons once a week during the school term developing their self-esteem and theatrical skills. Lessons with the Academy are jam-packed and fun ,making the hour lesson fly by in a flash. Term 1 ended on the 26 March and the 2nd term starts up on the 11 April 2011. The 2nd term is an exciting one as students work towards the end-of-term parent presentations held from 20 June, which will showcase the skills they’ve learnt with Academy over the past 6 months. During the School Holidays the Academy holds its Annual Arts Fest from 4 July – 9 July which will give students the opportunity to try their hand at singing, dancing, acting, mask-making, physical theatre and much, much more!!!
The 3rd Term has an exciting curriculum lined up; and the 4th term will get students involved in a short-scripted production! If you love drama and you’re not apart of this academy then you are really missing out – BIG TIME!
